Dill-Mustard Baked Salmon

This recipe for a dill-mustard baked salmon is the perfect meal after a light or intense workout! You can make it in less than 20 minutes, so you can be sure you won’t be starving for long after exercising.

Ingredients (for 1 serving of Salmon)

☐ 1 cut of salmon (can be a steak or fillet, up to you, but be careful of bones if you buy a steak of salmon!)

☐ 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard

☐ 1/2 teaspoon Paprika

☐ 1.5 pinches of salt

☐ 1 tablespoon of Dill

☐ 1 teaspoon of Thyme

☐ 1-2 tablespoons of Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (adjust as you prefer)

Instructions:

  1. Slather your marinade onto the salmon

  2. Preheat your oven/airfryer to 280°F

  3. Bake the marinated salmon for 16 minutes (20 minutes if your piece of salmon is a bit bigger than the picture)

Drizzle the olive oil onto the salmon and serve it all together

See-easy as 1, 2, 3. Once it’s done baking, you will notice that there is olive oil sizzling in the pan— do not throw that liquid gold out! Drizzle it back onto the salmon and if you’re serving it with rice, salad, quinoa, you can drizzle it onto that! Olive oil is key to helping you increase antioxidant levels and can help to manage your cholesterol levels.
